• Investigate, evaluate, estimate, and process property claims primarily via phone or internal communication
• Handle personal and commercial losses, including structure, contents, and business income claims
• Assign preferred contractors or independent adjusters for fieldwork and review their performance for quality
• Maintain compliance with claims organization policies and procedures throughout the claims process
• Assist in catastrophe claims handling, which may require overnight travel or extended stays

• Minimum of 5 years of property experience handling residential and commercial losses
• Experience as an inside property specialist or equivalent in the insurance industry
• Required to obtain and maintain applicable adjuster licensing within 6 months of hire
• Strong communication, negotiation, and people skills, with a positive professional demeanor
• A college degree or equivalent in insurance or business is required

• Continuing education in insurance through IIA and/or CPCU or other accredited providers
• Proven track record of meeting performance expectations in previous roles
