Senior Claims Specialist - CA Workers

• Investigate and adjust workers' compensation claims with high potential exposure
• Analyze coverage, determine compensability, and establish reserves
• Negotiate settlements and prepare large loss reports for internal and external audiences
• Conduct meetings with insureds and claimants to discuss claims
• Collaborate closely with defense attorneys and other vendors, including medical case management

• Minimum of 10 to 13 years of California workers' compensation claims adjusting experience
• Current license to adjust workers’ compensation claims in California
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work with a variety of internal and external contacts
• Industry designations such as Associate in Claims are highly regarded

• Experience in adjusting higher exposure claims within California
• Additional industry certifications or designations
• Proven track record of successful claims resolution strategies
