Commercial General Liability Specialist

• Investigate, evaluate, and process commercial general liability claims, including construction defects and third‑party injuries
• Handle mechanical professional liability damage claims in conjunction with damage appraisers and outside experts
• Coordinate inspections with outside vendors, including cause and origin experts and engineers
• Comply with claims organization policies, established best practices, and jurisdictional guidelines
• Effectively investigate and close a minimum average of 25 losses per month

• Minimum of 5 years of general liability experience or related industry experience
• Demonstrated excellent telephone and personal claims negotiation and investigation skills
• Strong knowledge of tort law, medical terms, and treatments
• Excellent knowledge of commercial lines policies and coverages
• A college degree is strongly desired

• Continuing education through in‑house claims training classes or accredited insurance education providers
• Multi‑language skills are a plus
