Freelance Subtitling Korean/English Linguist
Pixelogic is a leading creative, localization, and distribution services company that breaks cultural barriers and ensures your message resonates with diverse audiences worldwide.
We are looking for a skilled freelance subtitling translator/interpreter to support a project starting mid‑December. Are you passionate about movie subtitles and fluent in both Korean and English?
Responsibilities- Attend virtual meetings with client, Pixelogic project managers, and/or editors.
- Translate and review subtitles in Korean and English.
- Translate and review Korean and English materials (emails, documents, creative content, explanations) related to the project.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural nuance in subtitles and other materials.
- Korean/English bilingual.
- Proven experience in subtitling translation or localization.
- Excellent writing and communication skills in both languages.
- Strong cultural awareness and the ability to convey nuance naturally.
- Flexible and reliable availability during Pacific time.
- Workload may vary; must be on standby and respond promptly.
