Cantonese/Mandarin Interpreter (On‑Site - Freelance/Contractor)
Join our team as a freelance medical interpreter in the Washington D.C., Northern Virginia and Maryland areas.
We’re looking for bilingual professionals passionate about breaking down language barriers in healthcare. The role offers the flexibility to choose your own hours and workload.
Responsibilities- Provide in‑person medical interpretation services for clients.
- Valid U.S. work authorization
- Residency in the Washington D.C., Northern Virginia, or Maryland area
- Willingness to travel to client locations
- Willingness to undergo background check
- Willingness to undergo drug screening
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a 40‑hour Medical Interpreter Training Course (certificate from a reputable institution required)
- Completion of an oral language proficiency test in both English and your target language(s)
- Flexible scheduling
- Competitive pay rate starting at $27 per hour
