Healthcare Transactions Associate
Our client, a leading Am Law 50 law firm, is seeking an associate with 3‑5 years of transactional experience to join its national Health Care Practice Group. Candidates will have a particular emphasis on health‑care focused clients and possess knowledge of federal and state health‑care regulatory environments and their impact on health‑care transactions, as well as day‑to‑day business matters affecting health‑care industry clients.
Ideal candidates will have sophisticated transactional document drafting skills, the ability to manage complex projects and matters, and a willingness to train and mentor junior associates. The firm is searching for a well‑rounded, dynamic, highly motivated associate who has demonstrated an ability to thrive in a sophisticated practice and in a collegial environment, to assist with advancing the long‑term strategic objectives of the health care practice group.
Base pay range: $/yr – $/yr (annually)
Responsibilities- Analyze and draft health‑care transactional documents.
- Provide legal analysis on federal and state healthcare regulations and their effect on transactions.
- Manage complex projects and legal matters within the health‑care practice group.
- Mentor and train junior associates.
- Contribute to the strategic development of the health‑care practice.
- JD from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
- Current admission to practice law in the District of Columbia.
- 3‑5 years of transactional experience, focusing on health‑care clients.
- Excellent transactional document drafting writing skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects and matters.
- Willingness to train and mentor junior associates.
- Well‑rounded, dynamic, and highly motivated.
