Overview
Dinsmore HBCU Scholars Program offers first-year law students from HBCU law schools or those who earned an HBCU undergraduate or graduate degree an opportunity to participate in Dinsmore’s 10‑week summer associate program.

Scholarship Details- $10,000 scholarship awarded to the recipient.
- Participation in the 10‑week summer associate program at one of our offices:
Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, OH;
Indianapolis, IN;
Lexington or Louisville, KY;
Los Angeles or San Diego, CA;
Orlando, Miami, Tampa, FL;
Pittsburgh, PA;
Charleston or Morgantown, WV; or Washington, DC. - Opportunity to return for a second summer and to join as a first‑year associate with Dinsmore following graduation.
- First‑year law student currently enrolled at one of the six HBCU law schools.
- OR first‑year law student who earned an undergraduate or graduate degree from an HBCU.
- Must apply by January 30, 2026
