A law firm seeks a Patent Litigation Associate to join its Washington, D.C. office. The successful candidate will work on innovative technology cases for leading tech companies, engaging directly with partners and clients.
Duties- Manage patent litigation cases, including contentions and Markman hearings.
- Conduct written and oral fact and expert discovery.
- Collaborate with engineers and developers on technical details.
- Interact confidently with major tech industry clients.
- Minimum of 3 years of patent litigation experience.
- Experience in case management and client interaction.
- U.S. bar membership required.
- Registration to practice before the USPTO preferred.
- Degree in engineering, applied physics, mathematics, computer science, or equivalent experience.
- Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- U.S. bar membership.
- USPTO registration preferred.
- Strong technical communication skills.
- Ability to manage complex litigation cases.
- Confidence in client interactions.
- Eligible for discretionary or hours-based bonus.
