Engineering
- Lead an assigned maintenance team to achieve goals and problem-solve
- Direct the activities of team members to perform equipment repair and preventative maintenance
- Directly supervise team members’ work activities and monitor work performance
- Communicate with engineers and vendors as necessary
- Effectively communicate with and motivate employees to drive productivity and achieve company standards
- Create a continuous improvement culture through the application of LEAN concepts and procedures to the day-to-day maintenance functions
- Collaborate with the functional areas of operations such as Human Resources, Safety, Operations, Quality Assurance, Finance, Shipping and others
Technical
Experience:
- Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical, safety, and preventative maintenance programs
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
- Comfortable using email, smartphone apps, Microsoft Office, wireless printers, tablets, and other technologies. Experience with Google Suite is a plus
- Bachelor s Degree or 4 years of industrial maintenance work experience; experience within afood processingorganization
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role
You will report to the Plant Manager and hold significant manufacturing-based PLC experience and will be responsible for training maintenance teams and production operatives on the safe usage of all machinery within the processing facilities.
