PurposeThe Warehouse Spray Painter role applies industrial coatings and surface treatments to metal products and equipment following EFCO’s quality, environmental, and safety guidelines. Support production flow by maintaining clean, functional equipment and adhering to process standards.
Key Responsibilities- Coat Products for Finish and Protection (60%) Use spray equipment to evenly cover parts with industrial coatings, achieving a consistent, high-quality surface that meets EFCO’s finish standards.
- Manage Paint Setup and Flow (20%) Adjust paint viscosity, temperature, and pressure to ensure smooth application. Swap out 55-gallon paint drums and prep material flow for uninterrupted operations. Monitor downdraft system. Complete inspection forms as part of the production process.
- Maintain a Clean and Organized Work Area (10%) Keep the painting area clean and free of debris. Conduct basic maintenance and troubleshooting to keep tools in working condition.
- Move and Stage Parts (10%) Transport and position parts for painting using hoists or other material handling tools, ensuring they are properly staged for the next process. Additional duties may be assigned to meet organizational goals and priorities. Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity, may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing, to meet organizational goals and priorities.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required - Prior industrial painting experience preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure.
