Digital Media Account Manager/ Account Manager/ Ads Campaign

Duration: 8 months (Fixed term)

JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for Account Managers to support Political advertising. This is an 8-month contract role centered on hands‑on Ads campaign execution, paid media management, political advertising strategy, campaign optimization, and reporting. The role involves close collaboration with digital media agencies to drive effective campaign performance. This role is hands‑on and execution‑focused, responsible for managing, optimizing, and reporting on political advertising campaigns running on digital advertising platforms.

You will act as a trusted execution and optimization partner to digital media agencies representing political advertisers, ensuring campaigns perform efficiently, comply with political advertising policies, and deliver actionable insights. You will work in a high‑visibility, fast‑paced environment, especially during peak election periods, requiring strong attention to detail, discretion, and performance under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hands‑on execution and optimization of political ad campaigns.
  • Daily use of Google Ads (primary buying platform).
  • Reporting and insights using Excel and Looker Studio (Data Studio).
  • Translating campaign metrics (CPM, performance trends, optimization opportunities) into client‑ready insights.
  • Client‑facing communication with agencies.
  • Adhering strictly to political advertising policies and confidentiality standards.
Required & Preferred Skills Must‑Have / Strongly Preferred
  • Hands‑on Google Ads buying experience (top preference).
  • General ad‑buying experience (DSPs, social, video) is transferable.
  • Client‑facing experience.
  • Ability to work in a high‑stress, high‑visibility environment.
Nice to Have
  • Political ad buying or campaign experience.
  • Experience with DSPs (e.g., The Trade Desk, MIQ, Stack Adapt).
  • Advanced Excel skills and dashboarding in Looker Studio.
  • Experience at political ad agencies or consulting firms.
Experience Level
  • Ideal: 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Flexibility:
    Strong candidates outside this range may still be considered.
  • Years of experience alone are not a disqualifier.
