Senior Director, Institutional Giving & Impact

Reporting directly to the Vice President, Giving & Impact, the Senior Director, Institutional Giving & Impact is responsible for securing ambitious financial resources from institutional funders to achieve organizational revenue goals. The Senior Director works closely with other TWS Giving & Impact and Program staff to secure this support for TWS’ conservation priorities. They lead their channel in identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewarding of current and prospective foundation and corporate donors who can and will make significant gifts to TWS.
They are also responsible for managing relationships and securing support from a portfolio of funders and prospects to support the mission of The Wilderness Society.
The Senior Director also serves as part of the Giving & Impact Leadership Team, working with other Sr. Directors and the VP to ensure that philanthropy is understood across the organization and that the philanthropic voice is part of major organizational decisions.
