Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced House Supervisor (RN) (PRN-Rotating Evening & Nights) to take charge of managing various areas within the hospital when the unit or department Director or Administrator is unavailable. This House Supervisor ensures that the hospital has the right number of staff members to meet patients' needs efficiently and facilitates patient flow throughout the hospital. Responsibilities include coordinating admissions, transfers, discharges, monitoring resource use, and promoting a positive patient care atmosphere.
Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center is the first new full‑service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years, integrating care with The George Washington University Hospital and the Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. The hospital has 136 beds (expandable to 184), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric ED, maternal health, ambulatory pavilion, 500‑car garage, and a helipad.

QualificationsRequirements:
- BSN
- DC RN license required
- 5 years of nursing experience in an acute care facility
- Previous nurse management experience
- Previous HOS experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certification required
Skills:
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities
