American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Intensive Care Unit position requiring 3+ years of ICU experience, Cerner proficiency, and a DC RN license.

• Multidisciplinary ICU caring for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients
• Utilizes advanced critical care technology including ventilators, ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, and CRRT
• 3x12 hour shifts on an AM/PM rotating schedule
• 36 hours per week

• Active DC RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required
• Minimum 2 years of prior work experience in a US hospital within the specialty required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
• BSN highly desired
• Two manager or supervisor references required, verifying most recent experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

• Perform a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility
• First-time travelers may be considered
