PACU RN – Washington, DC
Shift: 8-hour days, 5x8 or 4x10
Call: Required
Guaranteed hours: 40/week | Contract weeks: 13

Requirements

• PACU/pre-op experience: 2 years required, and it must be recent
• ICU experience: minimum 2 years required
• Level I trauma center experience is expected. Surgicenter experience does not count, because those patients are less complex than a Level I trauma center sees.
• Ability to think critically and work independently
• Current RN license valid in the state/district (DC)
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; BSN highly desired
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Certifications highly desired: CPAN, TNCC, and CCRN
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
