Nurse Manager
- Labor & Delivery

M-F, 8-hour shifts Candidates MUST have manager experience - do not submit without "Patient population includes, Females of childbearing years, pregnant 17 weeks gestation, laboring, scheduled procedures (C-sections, external cephalic versions, cerclage (we try not to do these on the unit)), and Triage.

• Previous Nurse Manager experience required - do not submit candidates without direct management experience
• BSN required
• Active RN license
• Minimum 5 years of progressive nursing experience
• Significant Labor & Delivery, Women's Services, Mother-Baby/Postpartum, or Maternal-Child Health experience
• Previous leadership experience as a Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, Clinical Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or similar role
• BLS required
• NRP required

• MSN, Healthcare Administration, or related advanced degree
• ACLS
• Specialty certification in Obstetric Nursing, Maternal-Newborn Nursing, Nursing Leadership, or related field
• Experience managing staffing, productivity, quality metrics, patient satisfaction, employee performance, and departmental operations

Labor & Delivery unit caring for:

• Women of childbearing age
• High-risk pregnancies (17+ weeks gestation)
• Laboring patients
• Scheduled C-sections
• External Cephalic Versions (ECV)
• OB Triage patients
• Vaginal and Cesarean deliveries

• Admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Labor management
• Pre-operative care
• Vaginal deliveries
• Cesarean section deliveries

• Cerner EMR
• Feta Link documentation system
• Electronic fetal monitoring systems

Qualifications:
-Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Labor & Delivery RN is preferred, but we are open to exceptional candidates with a strong passion.
-Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
-Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure, especially during stressful and fast-paced moments in the healthcare setting.
-Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.
-Ability to pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards.
