Our client, a prominent organization dedicated to advancing innovative solutions in the technology sector, is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join their team for a six month plus contract. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the Software Development Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst
Location: Washington, DC
What's the Job?- Develop, manage, and execute all phases of quality assurance testing, including analysis of product requirements and creation of test plans.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to review test cases, requirements, and design documents, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test data for software testing activities across multiple environments.
- Document and report issues discovered during testing, and follow up to ensure resolution, contributing to continuous quality improvement.
- Bachelor’s Degree in technology, innovation, or a related field of study.
- At least 4 years of experience with complex projects in QA testing within client‑server and web‑based environments.
- Hands‑on experience with test management tools such as JIRA/Zephyr.
- Proficiency in RDBMS such as Oracle or Postgres, including writing queries.
- Experience developing test strategies, plans, and automation frameworks, including tools like Selenium, Soap UI, and Cucumber/Ruby.
