The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a research assistant in a research division of the Congressional Research Service (CRS). The employee applies education, training, or experience in a social science or related discipline to duties including data collection, manipulation, and analysis; research; writing; and quality control. As directed, the employee assists research staff and managers in developing CRS products and otherwise addressing congressional requests for information and analysis.
