The D.C. store Part-time Key Holder is a key employee in delivering excellent customer service. The sales associate is responsible for serving customers and accurately recording all sales, as well as assisting with merchandising responsibilities, such as stocking, pricing and keeping the store neat, clean and organized.

• Drive business through understanding and responding to customers’ needs and wants
• Strong sense of product knowledge and ability to suggestively sell
• Ability to develop clientele relationships and maintain client log
• Maintain a visually enticing store that is neat, clean, and organized
• Ability to think creatively in business and seek sales opportunities
• Understand surrounding community and suggest ideas; assist in researching brands to contribute product knowledge
• Arrive on time and floor ready; respond promptly to communication from management
• Tag new merchandise, restock what has been sold
• Understand surrounding retail competition
• Maintain a healthy, positive work environment
• Provide constructive feedback to management; report issues properly
• Respond well to feedback from management and follow directives
• Works well with others, and is a team player

• 1+ years retail experience
• High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and sufficient work experience
• Strong verbal and written skills, including professional, articulate phone etiquette
• Ability to perform effective selling techniques to achieve sale and repeat business
• Good computer skills; working knowledge of Google Suite; point of sale system experience preferred
• Physical requirements:
  
  lift /carry/move 40 lbs. minimum including fixtures and product
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (less than 30 hours per week) including holidays, overnights, weekends
