Job Skills / RequirementsTri Corps Security is hiring professional and motivated Security Officers (SOs) to join our team in Washington, D.C. Applicants must hold a valid DC Security Officer (SO) license and demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and strong communication skills.
As a Tri Corps officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of employees, visitors, and property. This position requires attentiveness, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment through proactive observation and service.
Responsibilities- Monitor facilities and designated areas to detect and deter irregular or unusual activity.
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Secure premises by patrolling property and maintaining visibility to deter unauthorized activity.
- Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and disturbances, maintaining composure in high-stress situations.
- Observe, report, and prevent incidents by maintaining a consistent security presence.
- Enforce site rules, policies, and procedures to ensure the safety of all personnel and property.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Tri Corps’ values of professionalism and integrity.
- Support management and client directives to maintain consistent, high-quality service.
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Remain observant and proactive throughout each shift to ensure a safe environment.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and calm decision-making in all interactions.
- Uphold Tri Corps’ standards of integrity, reliability, and excellence.
- Valid DC Security Officer (SO) license (required)
- Driver’s License (required)
- Current CPR Certification (required)
- Positions available in Washington, D.C.
- Shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Security Officer (SO) District of Columbia Municipal Regulations (17-Chapter 21)
