About Us U.S. Main Patrol Division is an up-and-coming Security Firm that provides services to various companies in Washington D.C. and Maryland.

We are seeking to hire several professional Armed/Unarmed Security Guard to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and secure environment. You will protect our premises, assets, and employees and prevent any illegal or inappropriate occurrences. The ideal candidate has experience with public safety and security and operates with a high degree of integrity at all times.

We are looking for hardworking, motivated, driven individuals to work evenings, overnights, and weekends. Weekends will be mandatory. Due to nature of the job, you must have a reliable means of transportation and a working/reliable phone. Security licensing, baton, handcuffs, OC Spray Credentials will be needed to successfully perform the duties outlined below.

• Patrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility
• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility
• Remove trespassers when necessary
• Respond to reports of suspicious activity
• Report on daily activities and any security incidents
• Interact courteously with the general public and various property management

• At least two years of previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Clean criminal record (No felonies or misdemeanors deferred or otherwise)
• Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred
• High school diploma/GED
• Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures
• Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability
• Ability to operate surveillance equipment
• High level of integrity and professionalism - Maintaining a positive attitude at all times
• Attention to detail and strong observational skills
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Be able to stand and walk up to eight hours
