The Carpenter maintains all structures and related components. Services performed include all standard carpentry work such as roughing, framing, and finishing; cabinet making and glazing. The role requires journeyperson‑level maintenance and repairs in accordance with industry/trade practices, and the completion of assignments in response to service requests, scheduled preventive maintenance inspections, and special projects. Incumbents use standard tools, equipment, materials, and supplies while observing safety rules, regulations, and precautions.

This position reports directly to the Building and Structures Supervisor and works alongside other carpenters, masons, roofing/sheet‑metal workers, building maintenance workers, and a trades helper.
Requirements and Qualifications- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training in the carpentry trade.
