Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Install, program, and maintain security systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems, and CCTV systems.
  • Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide technical guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, local codes, and company policies.
  • Document service activities, including installation details, maintenance logs, and client communications.
  • Work independently or as part of a team on projects of varying complexity.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronic security and fire alarm systems installation and maintenance.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard equipment and brands (e.g., Honeywell, DMP, Hirsch, GE, DSC).
  • Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Familiarity with NFPA codes, NEC standards, and local fire and building regulations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work on‑call or overtime as needed.
  • DCJS certification or ability to obtain one is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or relevant certifications preferred.
