Playset Assembly Technician​/Basketball Hoop Assembly Technician​/ In-Store Furniture Assembly Tech

Gateway Installs & Assembly LLC is looking for reliable, mechanically inclined Assembly Technicians to join our growing team. We provide high‑quality residential and commercial installation services, specializing in playsets, basketball hoops, and in‑store furniture assembly. Part‑time and on‑call schedules are available, with the option to work as a W‑2 employee or a 1099 independent contractor.

• Assemble and install residential playsets, swing sets, and basketball hoops (portable and in‑ground).
• Complete retail and in‑store furniture and fixture assemblies.
• Follow manufacturer instructions, diagrams, and assembly manuals accurately.
• Safely operate hand and power tools.
• Perform site preparation, leveling, anchoring, and concrete work when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
• Communicate professionally with customers, store managers, and team members.
• Load, transport, and unload tools and materials.
• Complete assigned jobs efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.
• Adhere to all company safety standards and guidelines.

Required

• 1+ year of experience in assembly, installation, construction, carpentry, or maintenance.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and follow detailed assembly instructions.
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail‑oriented.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience assembling playsets, basketball hoops, fitness equipment, or furniture.
• Background in construction or carpentry.
• Experience with concrete mixing, anchoring, or site prep.
• Retail or in‑home installation experience

• Weekly pay every Friday.
• Per‑job earning potential ranging from $500–$2,000 per week
