Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring an Electronics Technician to support our client as the focus on various electronic systems initiatives. This is a direct placement role on-site in Washington, DC. The Electronics Technician will work on designing, engineering, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security services. This is a great opportunity supporting a DOD program.
Responsibilities for the Electronics Technician- Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electronic systems.
- Conduct site surveys, configure hardware/software, and test systems for proper operation.
- Install raceways, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, and panels per industry standards.
- Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices, network, and IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot copper and fiber optic issues and programmable components.
- 5+ years of Security Systems Experience, electronics instillation or maintenance.
- Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
- Experience with CCURE, AMAG, or Lenel (Certifications preferred)
- Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills is a plus.
- Active Secret is required.
- Salary range: $30-42 an hour depending on experience
