About the RoleAs a Field Service Specialist for HVAC and Refrigeration, you will serve as a critical technical expert responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of complex climate control systems. You will leverage your advanced diagnostic skills to resolve mechanical and electrical challenges, directly impacting the comfort and operational efficiency of our commercial clients.
Responsibilities- Execute complex repairs and routine maintenance on commercial HVAC/R equipment, including rooftop units, boilers, and refrigeration systems.
- Drive system longevity by performing proactive inspections and precision preventative maintenance.
- Resolve intricate electrical, mechanical, and control system malfunctions to minimize client downtime.
- Provide expert technical recommendations for system upgrades and equipment replacements to improve facility performance.
- Maintain high standards of documentation by accurately recording service activities and site reports.
- Uphold safety and operational excellence while managing company-provided tools and service vehicles.
- Deliver exceptional on-site service, ensuring clear communication and professional engagement with all customers.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands‑on experience in commercial HVAC/R service.
- Current EPA Universal Certification.
- Completion of an accredited HVAC technical training program.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical and control systems.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Physical capability to perform tasks on rooftops and in various environmental conditions.
- Experience with multi‑site retail facility maintenance.
- Advanced proficiency in building automation and HVAC control systems.
- Strong background in large‑scale refrigeration and boiler repair.
