Since 1998, RJH Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service has built a strong reputation for reliable commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment service throughout the DC Metro area, and we're looking for an experienced HVAC-R Service Technician to join our growing team and build a long-term career with an established company that values skilled technicians, invests in their development, and provides the tools and support needed to succeed.
WhatYou'll Do
- Service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Work across diverse commercial environments, including:
- Commercial kitchens
- Government facilities
- Scientific laboratories
- Research facilities
- Institutions and commercial properties
- Communicate professionally with customers and facility teams
- Diagnose equipment issues and recommend effective solutions
- Collaborate with experienced technicians and managers when additional support is needed
- Identify opportunities for maintenance contracts and earn commissions on qualified leads
- 4+ years of commercial HVAC and/or refrigeration experience
- EPA Universal Refrigerant certification
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Journeyman or Master HVAC license is preferred
- Vocational or technical college training is preferred
- CFESA certification is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team
