Technical Lead; Oracle Pl​/Sql

This position is for a highly motivated, driven individual with a passion for Application database development. The role is aligned with a project involving full software development lifecycle support (SDLC). The candidate must have 5+ years of experience in handling multi-database development with experience in Postgres DB and should be able to hit the ground running.

• 7+ years of relevant experience working with databases like Oracle, SQL and Postgres with 2 years of hands‑on experience in Postgre
  
  SQL database.
• Implement and maintain Postgre
  
  SQL database code in the form of stored procedures, scripts, queries, views, triggers, etc.
• Implement effective and maintainable database coding practices that form an architectural foundation.
• Ensure database code meets the requirements and that database code is accurately documented.
• Participate as a member in Agile teams, and work with other team members to review user stories, estimate effort to build functionality supporting user stories, and participate in sprint reviews.
• Analyze existing SQL query and PLPG/SQL code for performance improvements.
• Develop functions, PL/SQL statements and stored procedures Postgre
  
  SQL to maintain business logic.
• Design relational logical data models and their physical schema design.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and correct data and user related system errors and ensure data integrity.
• Strong in SQL and PL/Postgre
  
  SQL experience in Postgres 9.x/10.x/11.x environment.
• Broad and deep knowledge of Postgre
  
  SQL and other database development.
• Hands‑on experience identifying bottlenecks and performance tuning of stored procedures and functions.
• Design solutions to migrate data across different databases.
• Suggest improvements to current processes, tools and implementation ideas.
• Strong understanding of performance analysis, query tuning and optimization.
• Willingness to learn and implement new data technologies as needed.
• Understanding of users, privileges, securities, backup and restore.
• Excellent speaking‑listening‑writing skills, attention to details, proactive self‑starter.
