Software Engineer: Perpetuals

Consensys is a blockchain technology company focusing on Ethereum-based products. This role owns the technical architecture and roadmap for Meta Mask's Perpetuals experience across Extension and Mobile, including data flows, order execution, and margin/liquidation UX.

• Own the technical architecture and roadmap for Perpetuals across Extension and Mobile
• Set technical direction for trading-critical features and ensure resilience to data/feed issues
• Drive cross-team alignment with experience, backend, and protocol teams on complex projects
• Identify and de risk hard technical problems and make architecture trade offs
• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager on prioritization and technical planning
• Mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and raise technical standards

• 8+ years of experience with web and mobile technologies
• Experience building trading or other correctness critical systems with financial risk
• Experience with real-time data systems and resilient UX for unreliable networks
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives across multiple teams
• Hands on experience with React and React Native
• Strong JavaScript/Type Script skills and blockchain fundamentals
