Yard Operator

Rail Logistics, Inc. is currently seeking dependable and safety-driven Yard Operator (Jockey/Hostler Driver) to support our fast-paced intermodal operations. As a Yard Operator, you’ll help manage and direct the movement of containers, trailers, and equipment—keeping the yard organized and our supply chain on track.

Immediate availability ~ Second Shift
Additional shift availability may be discussed at interview

Responsibilities

• Safely operate yard equipment such as hostlers and side loader cranes (training provided if needed)
• Move and spot trailers and containers in the yard and at railcars using a yard tractor/hostler
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment and report any issues
• Follow all company safety procedures, DOT regulations, and yard protocols

• Previous experience in intermodal yard operations preferred (training provided if needed)
• Ability to operate (or willingness to learn) yard tractors and heavy equipment
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Good communication skills and a reliable, team-focused attitude
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
