Position Summary

The Logistics/Material Coordinator performs day-to-day execution of material handling, receiving, inventory management, shipping, and storage operations. The position requires a high school diploma and at least five years of experience supporting logistics or warehouse functions on projects of comparable complexity. This role ensures the accuracy, organization, and physical movement of materials while adhering to safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.

Roles And Responsibilities
  • Perform receiving, inspection, labeling, and documentation of incoming materials.
  • Execute inventory transactions, stock rotations, and bin-level updates in warehouse management systems.
  • Prepare materials for shipment, including packaging, staging, and preparing required documentation.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with storage standards.
  • Operate MHE and forklifts safely and effectively to move materials as required.
  • Conduct routine cycle counts and support full inventory audits.
  • Identify and report material discrepancies, damage, or storage hazards.
  • Assist in distribution activities, delivery scheduling, and staging for Government pickup.
  • Safeguard materials and ensure proper storage conditions based on technical specifications.
Required KSAs
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling techniques, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other MHE.
  • Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and basic data entry skills.
  • Physical ability to lift, move, and transport materials as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting team objectives.
  • Minimum five (5) years of industry experience in logistics/warehouse management of at least one (1) project of similar complexity of work stated in the PWS.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred KSAs
  • Experience working in Government logistics or military supply chain environments.
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials handling, if applicable to the PWS scope.
  • Familiarity with ISO, DoD, or federal property management standards.
