Base pay range: $28.77/hr – $28.77/hr hiring range: USD $19.36 – $28.77 /Hr.

Receives stores and distributes medical and non‑medical supplies and equipment using manual and material handling equipment.

• Receive non‑stock and/or stock deliveries; assist drivers in offloading using forklift, hand cart, power jack, manual jack, and/or rolling cart.
• Process stock and non‑stock deliveries and packages using the department’s data inquiry system; tag packages with location, room number, PO number (if appropriate) and place in designated staging area by zone for delivery/disbursement; tag/mark stock deliveries with appropriate warehouse location; file hard copies of purchase orders.
• Deliver non‑stock items by zone using a rolling cart, verifying order and securing the appropriate department signature on the packing slip and log; deliver stock items to bulk storage or the requesting department, securing a signature on delivery log for deliveries to departments.
• Answer phone inquiries from WHC departments regarding orders/deliveries; check the department’s data inquiry system and respond to callers.
• Label individual items pulled from bulk stock with barcode.
• Pull stock supplies from stock requisitions and/or faxes and place picked supplies in the designated staging area by zone for distribution.
• Deliver supplies to WHC from the warehouse by driving a truck or van (if required).
• Assist in or accomplish the collection, packaging, shipment and documentation of goods/items returned to vendors.
• Participate in taking physical inventories.
• Pull trash as necessary and maintain the work area(s) in a clean, orderly and safe condition.
• May perform the duties of a Material Handler as required.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Up to 1 year of technical or other specialized training (may be required).

• 6 to 12 months experience required.
• Experience in material handling preferred.

• Driver’s License (DL) valid and in state (DRLIC) required.

• Ability to read and write, and knowledge of grammar and arithmetic including fractions and decimals.
• May require use of standard office/medical equipment (e.g., typewriter, PC, data terminal, printer, calculator, telephone, facsimile, copier, sterilizing equipment, blood pressure cuff or tables); preparation, comparison or checking of reports, records and related data; basic use of formulas, charts, tables, drawings and knowledge of their application.
