Only complete application packages will be screened. Selected qualified applicants will be invited for an interview. The frequency of interviews is dependent upon district need for Substitutes.

Conditions of Employment
  • All newly hired employees are required to be fingerprinted and submit a background check at personal cost of approximately $53.00, completed prior to starting employment.
  • Background inquiries may be made to Washington State Patrol, FBI, or other law enforcement agencies.
  • Candidate must certify under penalty of perjury that the provided information is true and correct.
  • Candidate authorizes the District to release information to background agencies.
  • Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or have work‑authorizing visa and provide documentation.
  • Candidate must understand that falsification or omission of facts may result in disqualification or termination.
  • Candidate must be physically able to perform the duties of the job.

Specific Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Or have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at an institution of higher learning.
  • Or have completed a registered apprenticeship program.
