This Americorps national service position will serve 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday in person during school hours, after school, and during some school breaks. This is a 10.5 month position starting in September or October.

There is one position available serving at the following schools:

• Harrah Elementary
• Mt. Adams Middle School

These duties are a good fit for people who:

• Enjoy working on a team.
• Are comfortable working with children and adolescents.
• Have an interest in education and social work.
• Are US citizens, nationals, or lawful permanent resident aliens.

• Tutor students in a school setting under the supervision of a certificated teacher.
• Lead after school and enrichment activities to support academic success.
• Provide academic support in classrooms as needed.
• Conduct check‑in meetings with students who need academic success coaching.
• Organize learning materials and maintain student contact logs.

• Monthly stipend of $3,047.62 a month before taxes.
• Valuable experience in education.
• An education award of $3,447.50.
