CTE Business​/Entrepreneurship Teacher

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate educator to join our team at Oakville MS/HS as a full-time CTE Business/Entrepreneurship Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year. The ideal candidate will inspire and empower students to explore the world of business and entrepreneurship through innovative teaching methods, hands-on learning experiences, and real-world applications. This role requires a commitment to fostering an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.

• - Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum focused on business principles, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and related topics.
• - Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate technology, project-based learning, and real-world applications to enhance student learning.
• - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning styles and encourages student participation.
• - Assess student progress through a variety of evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
• - Collaborate with colleagues to integrate business and entrepreneurship concepts across various subjects and grade levels.
• - Stay current with industry trends, educational best practices, and state standards related to business and entrepreneurship education.
• - Communicate regularly with students, parents, and administrators regarding student progress and classroom activities.

• - Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field with current teaching certification.
• - Valid current CTE certification.
• - Proven experience teaching business or entrepreneurship courses at the middle or high school level a plus.
• - Strong knowledge of business concepts, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship practices.
• - Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• - Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for diverse student populations.
• - Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance teaching and learning.
• - A passion for inspiring students to pursue careers in business and entrepreneurship.
