Berkshire Hathaway Energy (Pacifi Corp) is seeking a customer‑centric Senior Hydro Mechanic to support our hydro operations at the Merwin Hydro Dam. The position requires residing in company‑provided housing as the first responder on site.

• Prepare reports, equipment recommendations, and maintain records.
• Assist in planning and scheduling.
• Repair and maintain all types of mechanical equipment in a generating station and associated facilities, including installation, alignment, and precision work with machine tools.
• Overhaul turbines, generators, governors, pumps, valves, gates, compressors, and related mechanical equipment.
• Maintain proficiency in all types of welding.

• Experience in power plant maintenance.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
• Ability to read and interpret written documents such as drawings, manuals, procedures, safety rules, and policies.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to conceptualize and develop creative alternatives to problem resolution.
• Capability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Comprehensive understanding of electric generating plant systems.
