Supports quality activities, including resolution of customer complaints, manufacturing quality, supplier quality, and new product introduction.

• Defines and documents required inspection and measurement activities, including new product inspection, receiving inspection, and calibration.
• Coordinates control of nonconforming material, including identification, containment, evaluation, and disposition.
• Monitors supplier performance and evaluates quality of incoming materials. Coordinates with Leviton supply chain and external suppliers to improve supplier performance.
• Facilitates the evaluation of customer quality concerns.
• Supports new product introductions (PDI) and ensures integration of quality requirements from concept to production.
• Coordinates with other engineers and departments to establish process controls, reduce variation, and improve yield.
• Coordinates with other engineers and departments to evaluate problems, identify root causes, and implement process improvements.
• Assists in activities required to maintain third party quality certifications (ISO 9001 and 14001) such as internal audits.

• Data Analysis – Converting raw data into useful information for decision-making and process improvement.
• Technical Communications – Presenting technical information clearly to different audiences, ensuring understanding across stakeholders.
• Problem Solving – Integrating technical skills to diagnose issues, develop solutions, and implement corrective actions effectively.
• Communication – Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers, along with internal and external customers and key stakeholders.

• Adaptability – Flexibility to adapt to new tasks, technologies, processes, and changing project requirements.
• Work Ethic – Demonstrating reliability, responsibility, and a strong commitment to organizational goals.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or technical field from an accredited college or university required.
• Experience or internship in a manufacturing environment, preferred.
