Atkins

Réalis is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Power & Industrial Power Delivery Team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Bothell, WA.

• Design and develop plans and drawings, which may include the development of preliminary layout and/or final drawings.
• Perform simple drafting and CAD assignments following detailed instructions.
• Responsible for the compilation of data and the preparation of reports.
• Assist engineers with Structures plan production tasks.
• Develop engineering calculations under the supervision of senior structural engineers.
• Perform field observations of construction where appropriate.

• EDUCATION:
  
  B.S. in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis from an ABET accredited college/university.
• EXPERIENCE:
  
  0-2 years of experience in a related technical field.
• SPECIAL
  
  SKILLS:
  • Math skills to perform calculations; willingness to learn.
  • Candidate must have a valid US driver's license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with AutoCAD and FEM software (strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrates initiative and collaborates effectively across teams
  • Capable of working independently while actively contributing to team goals
• PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS: E.I. or E.I.T. or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire (strongly preferred)

Expected compensation range is between $70,000 - $85,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
