Surveillance Observer I – Colville Tribal Gaming Commission

Position: Surveillance Observer I

Salary: DOE; starting at $20.20 per hour

Reports To: Surveillance Manager

Location: Omak, Washington

Non‑exempt. Under the general supervision of the Surveillance Manager, the Observer I cooperates with and independently performs duties across departments. This mid‑level position involves writing comprehensive reports and logs, conducting investigations, and maintaining the casino’s integrity through clandestine surveillance operations. The Observer I operates cameras in the monitor room, utilizes computers for routine paperwork, and remains fully knowledgeable of Federal and Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS) and CTGC‑approved procedures and policies.

The role also requires familiarity with all casino game rules and procedures, including table games such as Craps, Roulette, Blackjack, and is expected to have experience or aptitude for using electronic surveillance equipment.

• Knowledge of all table games or willingness to complete table games training within 90 days of employment.
