Transition Team Member (Part-Time) + Team Leads

Pay: $18–$20/hour

Fast-growing, woman-owned company. Caring Transitions of Spanaway helps seniors and families through major life transitions—relocations, downsizing, home organization, estate sales, home clear-outs, and online auctions.

This isn’t a desk job. You’ll be on your feet, hands‑on, and driving real change.

• Senior relocations, estate sales, and home clear-outs
• Packing, sorting, and organizing household belongings
• Removing trash and donations from homes
• Identifying sellable items vs. donations
• Preparing items for our online estate sale auctions
• Taking photos of auction items and uploading them to our platform

• Dependable and motivated (skills can be trained; reliability cannot)
• Team‑oriented individual with a positive attitude
• Strongly organized with attention to detail
• Comfortable using smartphones/iPads for photos and uploads
• Able to recognize items of value for resale/auction (or willing to learn)
• Professional in a client’s home
• Able to travel to job sites (reliable transportation required)

• High School diploma or equivalent training required
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Professional attitude and demeanor
• Experience in general labor or warehouse helpful
• Good hand‑eye coordination
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
• Valid driver's license and good driving record

• Frequent lifting, moving, climbing occasionally, transporting, placing and removing household items for staging, liquidation, donation and resettling
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to climb a flight of stairs inside or outside of a private residence
• Walking and/or standing in varying weather environments both inside and outside the home in cold and heat with varying weather conditions

• Lead and direct the team on‑site
• Communicate directly with clients in a calm, professional way
• Help prepare schedule and keep the day moving
• Take ownership of the job and keep standards high
• Lead positions have the potential for full‑time hours

• Part‑time (hours vary; full‑time not guaranteed)
• Flexible scheduling—can work around your availability
• Typical shifts:
  Monday–Friday, 10 AM–4 PM, with occasional Saturdays
• Job sites across:
  Spanaway, Eatonville, Roy, Yelm, Rainier, Tenino, Lacey, and Olympia
• Home office located in Tenino
