The Target Pay Range for this position is $25.67-$31.30 hourly. The full Pay Range is $21.11-$37.07 hourly. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job‑related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Imagine being the backbone of BECU's payment and deposit operations. In this role,
you'll ensure every transaction flows seamlessly
, safeguarding accuracy and compliance while supporting our members' financial journeys. Your expertise will keep critical processes running smoothly—from ACH and wire transfers to check clearing—making you an essential part of our success story.

This role will be a hybrid work model, with up to three days each week onsite at our Tukwila, WA office, giving you flexibility while fostering collaboration.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Champion Accuracy: Process deposits, payments, and wire transfers with precision, ensuring every transaction meets regulatory and internal standards.
- Master the Details: Operate imaging systems to capture and process checks and remittance documents for multiple work types.
- Keep Things Moving: Ensure ACH transactions, wire transfers, and internal investments are completed within strict time frames set by the Federal Reserve.
- Solve Problems Fast: Investigate and resolve discrepancies, exceptions, and out‑of‑balance conditions to maintain smooth operations.
- Collaborate and Communicate: Respond promptly to member inquiries and maintain clear communication with financial institutions regarding cash letters and returns.
- Protect What Matters: Maintain secure, systematic records and documentation for all transactions.
- Stay Ahead of Compliance: Apply your knowledge of NACHA, Federal Reserve, and NWCHA rules to ensure every process aligns with regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Typically two years of experience in a financial institution with operational experience such as data entry, item processing, reconciliation, fraud identification or related experience.
- PC and 10‑key skills with the ability to learn new software.
