HERO CALLING — Finance Manager (Mining Services | Perth | $160k–$180k + Super | Temp-to-Perm)

3–6 Month Contract → Pathway to Permanent | Immediate Start | On-site Leadership

Calling all heroes (immediately available accountants) a highly respected mining services organisation in Perth is searching for a Finance Manager who can stabilise the finance function, lead a capable team, and partner directly with the CFO through a key transition.

This is a hands-on role with genuine progression into permanency for the right person — ideal for someone who thrives in operational finance, job costing, cashflow control, and team leadership.

You’re stepping into a business where your work actually drives operational performance.

The CFO is currently carrying too much load — you will take ownership of :

• Pre-consolidation month-end & reporting
• Cashflow forecasting & intercompany transfers
• Contract + R&M job costing
• Full leadership over AP, AR, Payroll, Asset Accounting
• Pronto administration & controls uplift
• Streamlining accounting procedures and stabilising the team

• Full oversight of day-to-day finance operations
• Monthly statement of earnings, balance sheet, debtor / creditor and management reports
• Fortnightly cashflows
• Job costing (contract + repairs / maintenance)
• Approve bank reconciliations
• Lead and mentor the entire accounting team
• Payroll cost analysis (workers comp renewals)
• Support contract close-out financial analysis
• Approve capex capitalisations
• Review / improve accounting procedures
• Pronto administration and systems ownership

• Degree-qualified Accountant
• 3+ years in a Finance Manager / Senior Accountant / FC-level role
• Strong leadership + mentoring ability
• Excellent month-end, reconciliations & reporting capability
• Cashflow forecasting & job costing experience
• High accuracy, strong communication, and calm under pressure
• Strong Excel + financial software capability
• National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)

• Mining or mining services finance background
• Pronto experience (big advantage)
• Multi-entity experience
• Experience stabilising finance functions
• Controls / process improvement mindset
