• Responsible for performing daily inspections of the forklift and operating it in a safe and controlled manner.
• Responsible for cutting cores for all lines.
• Responsible for minimizing core waste by cutting all cores within specification.
• Responsible for transporting all packaging supplies to the appropriate lines, then returning them to their designated storage area.
• Responsible for transporting all boxed materials to the appropriate lines, then returning them to the designated return area.
• Responsible for maintaining the core and corrugated storage areas in an organized and controlled manner.
• Responsible for transporting all finished goods to the loading docks and loading the products onto the shuttles or outbound trailers.
• Responsible for unloading any materials that may be received at the plant from shuttles or inbound trailers.
• Responsible for gathering and taking out all garbage and dumping it in the appropriate dumpsters.
• Responsible for ensuring that all materials brought into the plant are clean and free of any foreign debris.

• Education and/or
  
  Experience:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent.
• People Skills.
• Customer Service.
• Language
  
  Skills:
  
  Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.
• Mathematical
  
  Skills:
  
  Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply & divide). Must be able to read a tape measure or rule in both standard & metric.
• Reasoning Ability:
  Problem solving ability. Understanding the cost of production, including cost saving ideas and implementation.
• Attention to attendance and safety:
  Have an excellent attendance record. Have an excellent safety record. Familiar with best practice safety procedures. Completion of ISO training. Good written and oral communications skills.

• Must work a 12 hour work day.
• Requires standing, walking, kneeling, bending and reaching.
• Requires pushing and pulling roll carts and hoists.
• Requires lifting up to 55 pounds.
• Requires ascending and descending ladders throughout the work day.
