Home Care Aide in Training; enrollment closes

Description of the role

As a Home Care Aide in Training with Generations Home Care - Spokane, you will learn the necessary skills and knowledge to provide quality care to our clients in the comfort of their homes. The Home Care Aide training is an unpaid training program, (the cost is roughly $800.00 if paying out of pocket). You would be responsible for the application and testing fees (a payroll deduction is available to help with the $220.00 fees).

The classes start in February, dates to be determined. Caregivers can become a certified home care aide within 3-weeks!! You will test the same week that you complete the classes. Students who are enrolled must commit to the policy of 100% attendance while taking the classes. During and after program completion, you can/will work as a caregiver in training for Generations.

• Caregivers are paid $40.00 for working a 1-hour shift
• Wage increases by $4.00 per hour for short shifts (2-3 hour shifts)
