The Director, Healthcare Solutions is responsible for developing and managing a high-performing team, building strategic relationships with healthcare executives, and implementing MCS programs within and across IDNs to drive growth at targeted accounts. This role establishes and executes account strategies, aligning internal resources with customer needs to support both company and customer long‑term objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership – Recruit, develop, and maintain a team of highly functional leaders, setting direction and overseeing performance.
- Compliance – Ensure all activities adhere to the highest standards of integrity and regulatory requirements.
- Strategic Relationship Development – Cultivate sustainable relationships with healthcare executives, clinicians, and other key decision‑makers.
- Internal Coordination – Coordinate with internal resources to address customer needs and facilitate successful adoption of solutions.
- Account Strategy & Planning – Lead the development of comprehensive account plans for healthcare systems and IDNs.
- Account Assessment & Optimization – Analyze customer data, assess needs, and collaborate with field sales and other commercial resources to enhance customer satisfaction.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred)
Experience: 15+ years in customer‑facing roles in medical device or healthcare industries, including sales, strategic accounts, marketing, and/or finance; 5+ years in people leadership.
Skills:
- Prior KOL management experience.
- Experience creating and implementing strategic programs within healthcare systems.
- Ability to navigate multiple stakeholders and align cross‑functional resources.
- Mastery of cardiac anatomy and clinical data.
- Ability to travel extensively (up to 70%) including weekends.
- Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare policy, hospital, and physician reimbursement.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Balance between strategic planning and tactical execution.
- Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field. - Advanced communication skills, particularly in setting performance expectations.
- Results‑driven with clear goal‑setting abilities.
- Business acumen and strong project management capabilities.
- Advanced MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Internal:
Professional Education, Therapy Awareness, General Managers, Commercial Marketing, Global Strategic Marketing, HR, and Data Analytics. - External:
Customer and third‑party vendor partnerships.
Hires, pay adjustments, promotions, performance reviews, and budget recommendations.
CompensationBase pay range: $150,000 – $258,750. Eligibility for a highly competitive sales incentive program. Opportunity for a car allowance through the FLEET program.
Benefits- Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year.
- Sick time – 40 hours per calendar year (56 hours in Washington).
- Holiday pay, including floating holidays – 13 days per year.
- Work, personal and family time – up to 40 hours per year.
- Parental leave – 480 hours within one year of birth/adoption/foster care.
- Condolence leave – 30 days for immediate family; 5 days for extended family.
- Caregiver leave – 10 days.
- Volunteer leave – 4 days.
- Military spouse time‑off – 80 hours.
