Our new rural satellite clinic is seeking a friendly, organized Part‑Time Patient Scheduling Coordinator to support front desk operations. This position manages provider calendars, schedules appointments, verifies insurance, and welcomes patients to the clinic. Because we serve a small community and accept walk‑ins, the ideal candidate must be able to think on feet and remain calm during stressful situations while providing excellent service.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
- Verify insurance coverage before visits
- Greet, check in, and register patients
- Support front desk operations, phones, and patient inquiries
- Adjust schedules for walk‑ins and same‑day needs
- Maintain accurate patient and insurance information
- Preference for those with experience in healthcare, customer service, or scheduling
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Comfortable using (or learning) EHR systems
- Able to work independently in a small‑clinic setting

Pay/Grade Range: The pay grade range for this position has been finalized for the facility according to an evaluation of the roles’ duties and requirements. The selected candidate will be placed within the appropriate range based on job knowledge, skills, education and experience.
