Supported Living Program Coordinator with DSP Duties - Issaquah
Alpha Supported Living Services, a non‑profit organization, is seeking a Program Coordinator with DSP duties in Issaquah, WA. We provide residential and community‑based services to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Job SummaryUnder the supervision of the Program Supervisor, the Program Coordinator assists with overseeing the provision of support for assigned participants, performing supervisory tasks and providing personal care supports as needed. The coordinator interacts with participants and must align with the Guiding Values issued by the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA).
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities- Assist the Program Supervisor and provide participant supports that meet individual needs.
- Revise staffing schedules and arrange coverage for absences/vacations; work direct support shifts as needed.
- Provide on‑site training to new staff.
- Monitor petty cash funds and complete related activities.
- Monitor home upkeep and notify appropriate personnel of concerns.
- Review participant documentation and discuss with supervisor regularly.
- Attend person‑centered planning meetings and participate in the development and implementation of participant IISPs.
- Encourage participants to provide input for IISP goal setting.
- Monitor progress toward IISP goal completion and assist supervisor with staff training.
- Support participants in decorating their space and empower personal choice.
- Track routine tasks and maintain activity calendars.
- Help develop cleaning schedules and assist as needed.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance and maintain insurance, registration, and safety documents.
- Help monitor food supply and confirm grocery purchases.
- Track and review participant safety equipment and record monthly safety checks.
- Maintain professional relationships with families, vocational staff, day program staff, DDA, and other providers.
- Participate in staff meetings, seminars, and complete annual training requirements.

- Operate a personal vehicle on a regular basis; maintain it in safe condition.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency with common productivity software (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to learn new software and systems.
- Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Sound judgment and decision‑making for the scope of work.
- Knowledge of personal care skills, techniques, and procedures.
- Ability to adapt to individual differences in ability, personality, interests, behavioral challenges, and medication protocols.
- Intermediate‑to‑advanced customer service skills; empathy and sensitivity to others.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Associate degree or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience in social services; or high school diploma/GED and 3 years of social services experience.
- Washington State driver’s license, current vehicle insurance, and ability to be insured by Alpha’s automobile insurance plan.
- Background inquiry clearance from an authorized state agency.
Starting Wage: $27.00/hr
Wage Scale: $27.00‑$32.60/hr

As of 10‑18‑21, all workers in Long‑Term Care are required to be vaccinated against COVID‑19.
