Travel MRI Technologist

American Consultants is looking for a travel MRI technologist for a contract in Dayton, WA. 12 hour day shift.

We are seeking a skilled and flexible Travel MRI Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services at healthcare facilities nationwide. The ideal candidate is experienced in MRI procedures, adaptable to new environments, and committed to excellent patient care while on short-term assignments.

• Perform MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure patient safety, including MRI screening, positioning, and monitoring during scans
• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and address questions or concerns
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines (including MRI safety standards)
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions as needed
• Adapt quickly to facility-specific workflows, policies, and EMR systems

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Current ARRT (MR) certification (or ARMRIT, as applicable)
• Active state license(s) as required by assignment location
• Minimum of 1–2 years of MRI experience preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety and imaging protocols
