Rehabilitation Aide

Job Overview

Under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Services Manager or Assistant Manager, the Physical Therapy Aide provides support to therapists by performing routine maintenance, sanitation, transportation, and care of the physical plant. The aide may assist therapists in patient preparation or transfers and may assume other responsibilities as assigned by the departmental manager. The aide demonstrates behavior practices that reflect the philosophy and mission of Providence Health and Services, the Dominican Sisters, and Providence Mount Carmel Hospital's Standards of Conduct.

• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of the physical plant.
• Assist therapists with patient preparation and transfers.
• Provide transportation support as needed.
• Support care of the physical plant and assist with other duties assigned by the manager.

• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association (upon hire)

• Course load or training in Nursing Assistant education.
• Course load or training in environmental services or nursing.

Pay Range: $17.00 – $21.90 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
