Radiation Therapist at Providence summary:

The Radiation Therapist administers radiation treatments to patients under the supervision of a Medical Physicist and is responsible for quality improvement and machine preparation. This role requires relevant degrees or training in radiation therapy and proper certification, including licensure in Washington and national certification. $10,000 Sign-On for eligible external hires who meet required qualifications and conditions for payment

The Radiation Therapist will perform a variety of duties associated with patient treatments. They will be responsible for Quality Improvement procedures and machine warm-up under the supervision of the Medical Physicist.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree Radiation Therapy. Or
  • Bachelor's Degree Radiation Therapy. Or
  • Coursework/Training Sufficient for licensure.
  • Upon hire:
    Washington Radiologic Technologist.
  • Upon hire:
    National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
